Stevenage Borough Football Academy is a purpose built training facility for all ages and all areas of the community. Anybody of any ability who wishes to play football or dance will be able to find an activity suitable for them.

The state of the art facility has 3 training pitches 40m x 23m and 1 coaching pitch 60m x 40m all laid with the latest Field Turf rubber crumb surface which looks and plays like real grass and is used by a number of top clubs in England and Abroad, including Arsenal, Liverpool, Chelsea, Leeds United and Newcastle United for their training pitches.
An addition to the football pitches is the Stripes Dance and Aerobics studio which has a sprung wooden floor, air conditioning and a state of the art sound system. There are a variety of classes for both adults and children and all are available on a pay as you go basis. For more information click on the Stripes Tab
Players can either attend one of our many course or they can get together with some friends or workmates and hire a pitch for themselves. We also run organised leagues for Adults and Juniors so there really is something for everyone. |

With the completion of the pavillion the total investment in the site will stand at 2.2million pounds and it is open to all sectors of the community, no private membership, no having to pay a guest fee just pay for the facilities that you use.
Please note that screw in studs and metal blades are not allowed on the pitches and outdoor shoes should not be worn in the studio

The FA Umbro 5's
We will be holding a heat of this years Umbro 5's on Sunday 1st June and have been guaranteed 2 places in the Regional Finalbeing held at Loughton Football Academy on Sunday 22nd June. The winners of each Regional final will then play at Wembley. to find an overall winner. 1/2 Term Holiday Courses
1/2 term is nearly upon us and we will be running a 4 day course from Tuesday 27th - Friday 30th May. Each day runs from 10am - 3pm and the days will be packed full of fun activities and lots of football mayhem. You can book any amount of time from just a day or for the whole week. Please contact us for more information and to get an application form.
Junior Kickers Kit now available
To add a greater sense of belonging to our junior kickers, added professionalism to our academy, and a splash of colour to our sessions we now offer a Junior Kickers team kit. The kit includes a rainjacket, t shirt, shorts, socks, shinpads and waterbottle all in a drawstring bag and are now available from the reception. The cost for the full kit will be £40 but items can be bought individually.
Pay and Play Kit now available
A similar kit is also going to be introduced into the pay and play sessions in the next few weeks so keep an eye out in the Academy for details.
New Goalkeeping Course
We are now in a position to offer a goalkeepers course to young keepers from the ages of 8 to 13. This is a 8 week course staffed by an FA qualified Goalkeeping Coach. The sessions will be aimed at goalkeepers who are new to the position aand are wanting to learn the basic and those looking for more technical knowledge of the position. The course will run from Monday 14th April to 16th June at 7pm-8pm (not 2 bank holidays in May). The cost of the course is £80. Pay and Play
There has never been a better time to get involved in the Pay and Play sessions. The sessions are open to anyone of any ability to come along and learn some new skills, make new friends and have a game of football in a fun and friendly environment. Starting on the 21st January a brand new element into the scheme called Kids Zone Membership will be introduced. Parents can sign up their children in a 10 week block and then they can attend as many sessions per week within their age group as they wish at no extra cost. Then at the end of the 10 weeks they will receive 2 free match tickets for a boro game. As members there will also be entitled to a £5 reduction per day on any of our holiday courses. If you do not want to take advantage of this fantastic saving at the academy there is no pressure... You can of course carry on doing what you have always done and continue to pay for each session as you go.
