Stevenage Borough Football Academy is a purpose built training facility for all ages and all areas of the community. Anybody of any ability who wishes to play football or dance will be able to find an activity suitable for them.

The state of the art facility has 3 training pitches 40m x 23m and 1 coaching pitch 60m x 40m all laid with the latest Field Turf rubber crumb surface which looks and plays like real grass and is used by a number of top clubs in England and Abroad, including Arsenal, Liverpool, Chelsea, Leeds United and Newcastle United for their training pitches.

An addition to the football pitches is the Stripes Dance and Aerobics studio which has a sprung wooden floor, air conditioning and a state of the art sound system. There are a variety of classes for both adults and children and all are available on a pay as you go basis. For more information click on the Stripes Tab

Players can either attend one of our many course or they can get together with some friends or workmates and hire a pitch for themselves. We also run organised leagues for Adults and Juniors so there really is something for everyone.

With the completion of the pavillion the total investment in the site will stand at 2.2million pounds and it is open to all sectors of the community, no private membership, no having to pay a guest fee just pay for the facilities that you use.

Please note that screw in studs and metal blades are not allowed on the pitches and outdoor shoes should not be worn in the studio

Junior Boro Season Ticket

For the 2009/10 season Stevenage Borough Football Club will be launching a brand new ticketing sheme for all children under 16 called Junior Boro. This scheme will offer two different ticketing options based on age, and will allow entry into all 23 SBFC home games, 10% discount in the club shop, priority on cup tickets and entry into exlcusive competitions and events. The tickets available will be £25.00 for under 11's and £50.00 for under 16's. For more information please go to www.stevenageborofc.com

Adult League Vacancies

If you would like to enter a team in any of the leagues please contact the Academy

We are currently taking applications for a new 8 a side league which will start very soon but there are only 2 spaces left so get in quick. More like real football with fewer stoppages, no overhead rule, no goalareas just lots of great flowing football.

We currently have the following vacancies
Sunday starting 21st June
Wednesday Division 1 or Division 2
Thursday 8 a side

Junior Kickers Kit now available

To add a greater sense of belonging to our junior kickers, added professionalism to our academy, and a splash of colour to our sessions we now offer a Junior Kickers team kit. The kit includes a rainjacket, t shirt, shorts, socks, shinpads and waterbottle all in a drawstring bag and are now available from the reception. The cost for the full kit will be £45 but items can be bought individually.

Soccer Kids

There has never been a better time to get involved in the Soccer Kids sessions. The sessions are open to anyone of any ability to come along and learn some new skills, make new friends and have a game of football in a fun and friendly environment. Starting on the Monday 1st June will be our next block for our popular Soccer Kids Membership and the price continuing at the reduced rate of just £35 for 10 weeks or £3.50 per session. Parents can sign up their children in a 10 week block and then they can attend as many sessions per week within their age group as they wish at no extra cost - this equates to just £1.17 per session and could save you a whopping £70.00 over the 10 weeks. You can of course carry on doing what you have always done and continue to pay for each session as you go.
