Stevenage Football Academy - Home Page
Stevenage Football Academy is a purpose built training facility for all ages and all areas of the community. Anybody of any ability who wishes to play football or dance will be able to find an activity suitable for them.
The state of the art facility has 3 training pitches 40m x 23m and 1 coaching pitch 60m x 40m all laid with the latest Field Turf rubber crumb surface which looks and plays like real grass and is used by a number of top clubs in England and Abroad, including Arsenal, Liverpool, Chelsea, Leeds United and Newcastle United for their training pitches.
An addition to the football pitches is the Stripes Dance and Aerobics studio which has a sprung wooden floor, air conditioning and a state of the art sound system. There are a variety of classes for both adults and children and all are available on a pay as you go basis. For more information click on the Stripes Tab
Players can either attend one of our many course or they can get together with some friends or workmates and hire a pitch for themselves. We also run organised leagues for Adults and Juniors so there really is something for everyone.
With the completion of the pavillion the total investment in the site will stand at 2.2million pounds and it is open to all sectors of the community, no private membership, no having to pay a guest fee just pay for the facilities that you use.
Please note that screw in studs and metal blades are not allowed on the pitches and outdoor shoes should not be worn in the studio.

NEW LADIES LEAGUE STARTING SOON!!
Our Brand New Ladies league is starting in May and we are now recruiting teams!!
The 6-a-side Ladies league is an ideal opportunity for existing Ladies team to extend their competitive football throughout the summer and also keep their fitness up.
But it is also an opportunity for new players to take part in a league.

6-A-SIDE LEAGUES STARTING SOON!!
If you want to play 6 a side and are over 16 we have a league for you. Starting soon on a Sunday evening there will be a brand new Student League for anyone between 16 and 21 and if you are at the other end of the age spectrum there will also be a brand new Vets league for anyone over 35 who still wants to play but in a more relaxed manner.
For anyone in between there is a new Sunday Night League starting soon and the new Monday Night League will start on 2nd July2012!!

YOUTH LEAGUES - KICKING OFF SOON!
Are you in Years 8-13 at School or College? Stevenage Football Academy will be holding 6-a-side Youth Leagues starting in 2012 every Tuesday Night!
The Leagues will be split into two age groups
> Years 8-10
> Years 11-13
Our Leagues will be professionally run with qualified referee's and promotion and relegation, all this for as little as £2 per player.

JUNIOR KICKERS COURSE
Junior Kickers is an introduction to football for 3 and 4 year olds. We run all of our sessions at this age as a 10 week block, so the children get to see familiar faces each week and can build friendships as well as learning football through fun games. WE CURRENTLY HAVE ADULT LEAGUE VACANCIES!
If you would like to enter a team in any of the leagues but are not quite sure how to go about it please contact the Academy and we will be pleased to help you. With new leagues starting all the time your never far away from your first game.
WORK EXPERIENCE
As you can imagine we receive a high number of applicants to obtain work experience with us. Due to this large number of applicants it has become our policy to only offer work experience placements to current members of our Centre of Excellence or Youth Development Scheme.
KIDZONE
There has never been a better time to get involved in our Soccer School sessions. The sessions are open to anyone of any ability to come along and learn some new skills, make new friends and have a game of football in a fun and friendly environment. Starting on Wednesday 25th April 2012 will be our next block for our popular Soccer School Membership with the price for a 10 week block at £40.00. This gives you access to both our midweek and weekend Soccer Schools and offers you a £30.00 saving off our pay as you play price, along with 10% off birthday party bookings.
