Our Scheme

Stevenage Borough FC In the Community is the community scheme of Stevenage Borough Football Club. The scheme is delivered at the clubs state of the art football academy as well as at venues within the community and provides excellence in football provision for all members of the local community. The scheme provides coaching for schools, community groups and youth organisations on a daily basis, in addition to its weekly kids coaching sessions and soccer camps during school holidays.

Stevenage Boro Football Club

Stevenage Borough FC is a professional football club that currently play’s in the Blue Square Premier. Matches take place on Saturday’s and Tuesday nights and are a great way for children to watch and enjoy live local football in a family friendly environment. If you are a school, youth football team or youth organisation and would like to come along and watch a match for FREE do not hesitate to contact us. We are always happy to provide worthy groups within the community with the opportunity to come and watch a Boro match for FREE.

Coaches

If you would like to hire a Stevenage Borough FC in the Community coach to assist in the coaching of any football team ranging from school, youth or adult please feel free to get in contact with us. We are more than happy to provide anything from basic fun sessions to add a bit of excitement to your normal training regime, specialised specific training or even a comprehensive pre season plan. Prices from £12.00 per hour.

Play Green Scheme

The Play Green Scheme is a free 5 week programme for schools which enable pupils to learn how to care for themselves and their environment. The scheme aimed at 7-11 year olds includes:

3 x 1 hour talks from selected professional’s on the environment and healthy eating.
3 x 1 hour coaching sessions from SBFC in the Community coaches
SBFC stadium tour and talk on SBFC green issues
2 hour coaching session and tournament at the SBFC Football Academy
Set scheme project and presentation evening from SBFC players and management.

The scheme which is sponsored by producer of energy saving light bulbs Megaman is available to schools for FREE

School Services

Stevenage Borough FC in the Community provides an exciting range of activities for schools within the local community, ranging from lunch time and after schools clubs that focus on fun based games and activities. To our Curriculum Support Packages which offer structured sports based lessons, with individual pupil reports and assessments.

All prices per coach per hour. Number of coaches dependant on each individual case,
+ Free SBFC ticket to every child at the end of each term/booking.
