Vacancies at the Academy
Part - Time Community Coach, working 20 - 25 hours a week coaching children from 3 to 12 years old. Applicants must have a minimum of a level 1 and have a current CRB check. 
Full Time Receptionist/Admin Assistant. Working evenings and weekends to cover our very busy reception area.
Part - Time handyperson, working 3 hours per day to keep the site in tip top condition and deal with any minor repairs

Youth Development Programme Trials

We will be holding our next set of trials on Friday 4th July 2008. The trials will be for every age band from U7-U18 players and successful applicants will be selected to join either our School of Development or School of Excellence. 2 Brand New Leagues.
Due to the increasing number of people that want to play small sided football we will be starting 2 brand new leagues.
Starting Thursday 17th July there will be a brand new 6 a side league. Kick off is from 7pm so if you want to get involved contact the Academy and get signed up  

Due to the popularity of the 8 a side league on a Thursday we will also run one on a Monday night starting Monday 14th July. Less restrictive rules just great fast flowing football. 40 minute game, no overhead rule, no goal areas, rolling subs, come and be part of the best leagues in Stevenage. Stripes Dance studio For Hire
The studio is now avaialble for hire throughout the week. For more details and costings please contact dawn.

Junior Kickers Kit now available

To add a greater sense of belonging to our junior kickers, added professionalism to our academy, and a splash of colour to our sessions we now offer a Junior Kickers team kit. The kit includes a rainjacket, t shirt, shorts, socks, shinpads and waterbottle all in a drawstring bag and are now available from the reception. The cost for the full kit will be £40 but items can be bought individually.

Pay and Play Kit now available

A similar kit is also going to be introduced into the pay and play sessions in the next few weeks so keep an eye out in the Academy for details.

Pay and Play

There has never been a better time to get involved in the Pay and Play sessions. The sessions are open to anyone of any ability to come along and learn some new skills, make new friends and have a game of football in a fun and friendly environment. Starting on the Monday 9th June a brand new element into the scheme called Kids Zone Membership will be introduced. Parents can sign up their children in a 10 week block and then they can attend as many sessions per week within their age group as they wish at no extra cost. Then at the end of the 10 weeks they will receive 2 free match tickets for a boro game. As members there will also be entitled to a £5 reduction per day on any of our holiday courses. If you do not want to take advantage of this fantastic saving at the academy there is no pressure... You can of course carry on doing what you have always done and continue to pay for each session as you go.
