Alongside the coaching courses for players, our professional coaches also run education sessions every 6 to 8 weeks on a Sunday evening for coaches. These sessions are open to everyone to help local coaches, teachers and even players plan new and varied sessions to take back to their teams training sessions. These popular sessions will be starting again very soon so keep an eye on the web site for dates. The sessions are extremely helpful and help coaches re-think their stragies and methods. There is a small charge of £3 per hour or £5 for the two hours. Any local clubs that are part of the Stevenage Borough Alliance will receive these sessions free of charge, however if you wish to come along to the session please contact the Academy to book a place.

As well as educating and coaching children to improve their football skills it is important to also educate the coaches to ensure standards are improved at all levels.
Our FA Coaching Courses offer opportunities to qualify as a football coach, which is an essential if you would like to get involved in junior football. The qualification includes an Emergency 1st Aid and a Child Protection module. Like our coach education , there are no current plans to host a level 1 coaching course, but please keep checking the site for any future details.
